Children's Hour

Every Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM at the Krum Public Library, Texas. Join Miss Katie, our professional children's librarian, and help your child develop early literacy skills with read-along storytelling, songs, movement, finger play, crafts, and free-play time!

Children's Hour is currently on SUMMER HIATUS. It will return on SEPTEMBER 5th, 2017.

“Story time” is an old fashioned term that really doesn’t convey what is actually being done during our 45 minute program.  Ms. Morris, a professional children’s librarian with several years of experience in a larger library, prepares a program which involves children in multiple learning activities including a craft project.  The entire program helps to increase early literacy and motor skill development, along with helping children learn to engage with others in a group setting.  Krum is very fortunate to have such a qualified person facilitating this program which is why we have had such a popular response to this program.
