The folks at the library love to get festive for Halloween, and the Friends of the Library have been putting on a popular Haunted House and Kid's Carnival for three years now! Sadly, this year COVID-19 precautions prevent us from doing that, but we are still excited about our Pumpkin Carving Contest and we hope YOU are too!

Help support your library by donating a fee to enter your carved pumpkin in the contest.

To enter, purchase carving kits from the library (while supplies last)

OR donate $5 per pumpkin entry

(All money raised directly supports KPL!)

You can get an entry ticket any time up until 10/28. 

Drop off finished pumpkins (and your signed entry ticket) between 10/27-10/28

(We reccommend no earlier than this so that your pumpkin stays fresh!)

Pumpkins will be displayed in the library window and online.

Members of the community may vote for their favorite pumpkin on 10/29.

Winners will be announced on 10/30.

All participants receive a prize!

After the contest, please pick up pumpkins on 10/30-10/31.
