Summer Reading Program Home

Every year, the library offers its SUMMER READING PROGRAM. Participants of all ages are welcome!

Each Summer Reading Program kicks off in June and includes exciting FREE events daily. Reading logs are offered throughout the program, and completed reading logs earn prizes, coupons, and entrance to win one of our epic GRAND PRIZES.

Summer Reading 2019 starts JUNE 1st and lasts through AUGUST 3rd.

Summer Reading 2019: A Universe of Stories

Pick up your reading logs at the library!

When you have have completed your reading log, turn it in for an instant prize and a drawing slip for the grand prizes. Then you can go ahead and get a second reading log (and a third, and a fourth)! Complete the following goals for each prize entry:

  • Pre-K/Elementary: Fill in 30 circles
  • Teen/Adult: Read 5 books

Pre-K/Elementary readers can also have the option to work through our "100 Ways to Read" list. Each one completed is worth one circle on your reading log!

The last day to turn in your reading log is August 3rd. Prize entries will be drawn from and winners will be notified on Tuesday, August 6th. If you win, you will need to pick up your prize by Saturday, August 10th or we will have to draw another name.
