Virtual Summer Reading Program 2020
Program Overview
All programming and logging for SRP 2020 was virtual. We distributed starter kits and craft bags. Instead of paper reading logs, we used ReadSquared to track participation.

To track community reading, staff created a gallery of storybook characters in our East Windows that we added to each week.

Missions in ReadSquared also included these fun at home activities:

Every 100 points earned through reading and completing activities earned participants a Level Badge in ReadSquared. All pre-k, children, and teen participants received a brag tag for each level they attained, and all participants received an entry into bi-weekly prize drawings and into the grand prize drawings at the end of the program.

Imagine Your Story T-shirts
All participants that completed the program by earning 1000 points in ReadSquared received an Imagine Your Story tote bag or cinch-sack bag. In total more than 50 prizes were given out for SRP 2020!
