FALL READ-A-THON

OVERVIEW

About

  • A Read-A-Thon is a celebration of stories, curiosity, and community. Instead of selling cookies or wrapping paper, we invite readers of all ages to do what they already love—pick up a book. Participants set aside time to read, track their progress, and share their accomplishments with friends and family who pledge support.

More than a Fundraiser

  • Encourages reading for pleasure: every page counts, whether it’s a picture book, graphic novel, or classic.

  • Builds community: families, neighbors, and local supporters can cheer on readers and feel connected to the library’s mission.

  • Supports programs: funds raised help the library bring more events, books, and resources to everyone in our community.
