Did You Know?
February 7 is Send a Card to a Friend Day. This would be a good time to send a note of encouragement to brighten your friend's day. Stop by the library Wednesday, February 7 and take advantage of the card-making supplies that will be available to help you reach out to your friends.

Staff Pick - Donna
Those people we never see - janitors, cleaners, security guards - just what do they do all day? This book tells the story of a security guard at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City and his 10-year journey of growth and learning.
His reason for taking the job was to hide from the world following the death of his big brother. His reason for quitting was to re-enter the outside world and start a new chapter in his life while hoping to share all he learned on the journey with his two young children.
It is an easy read but it did make me want to go to the museum. Now to find a way to go there without dealing with all the people in New York City!
Children's Hour resumes on Wednesday, February 7 and meets every Wednesday at 10 AM. Join Mrs. Katie for stories, songs, crafts, and more for ages birth to 5.
Friday Free Play - Preschoolers and their adults are invited to come to the library for a come-and-go free play hour at 11 AM every Friday.
