Every day we get closer and closer to the start of our Summer Reading Program! I am just giddy with anticipation to unveil all of the exciting events we have in store. Registration for the program won’t open until June 1st however, you can still login into or, set up your ReadSquared account if this is your first year participating!

Library Events 5/19–5/26:
Saturday May 20th – Saturday Storytime is back this May, and this time with a new face! Mr. Jesse, our newest employee will be doing all the things you know and love from Mrs. Katie’s Children’s Hour. Bring the kids down for stories and activities with Mr. Jesse! Saturday Storytime starts at 11:00 AM.
Wednesday May 24th – Children’s Hour with Ms. Katie! Bring the little ones for story-time with Ms. Katie. Stories, songs, activities, and crafts are all part of the fun. Children’s Hour starts at 10:00 AM and occurs every Wednesday of each month (excluding January and August).
Friday May 26th – Fourth Friday Free Play! From 11:00 AM to Noon. Preschoolers and their adults are invited to come join the fun every fourth Friday of the month for an unstructured play time in the KPL Meeting Room. Available toys will rotate each month, but there will always be reading, art, and play centers.
