September 2021 Volume 2, Issue 12

Director's Corner September is the start of a new season and I want to take a moment to thank all those who help make the library welcoming. Thank you to the City of Krum City Council for appreciating how important a library is to a community. Another thank you to Jodi Rios of Freeman Farms for donating flowers for the library’s flowerbeds. A HUGE thank you to the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints who weeded, planted and watered those flowers! And while thanking people, Thank You to Joy Wear who has been doing our newsletter for a full two years!

Staff Pick from CJ

I recommend A Case of Cat and Mouse by Sofie Kelly. This is the first book in the series “A Magical Cats Mystery.” As many of you know, I love animals and especially rescues. This light fantasy mystery features rescue cats that end up having magical powers. I like that in the book (and sometimes in life), the cats are smarter than the people around them.
