North Texas Library ConsortiumThe Krum Public Library is proud to be a part of the North Texas Library Consortium. NTLC is a group of area libraries that have partnered to coordinate activities, share resources, and combine expertise. This gives our patrons access to a significantly larger catalog and the convenience of being able to check out and return items at any of the participating NTLC libraries.

Interlibrary LoanIn addition to being a member of the North Texas Library Consortium (NTLC), we participate in the state Interlibrary Loan program. Interlibrary Loan (ILL) allows Krum Public Library card holders access to books that are not available from the Consortium’s collection. For items already in the collection, you can check our online catalog to place a hold. We will accept and process ILL requests for NTLC card members 17 years of age and older that have a current account in good standing and have been a patron for at least one year. Patrons with fines or overdue materials cannot request ILL books. Cardholders are responsible for fines and fees for overdue, lost, or damaged ILL items. Any items that are lost or damaged will be assessed a fee equal to the replacement cost plus a processing fee. Please note: Due to the fact that Interlibrary Loans can come from anywhere in the country, we cannot say how quickly they will arrive.
