Starting July 15th, your checked out items will auto-renew for you! No more stressing about overdue fines. "Blockbuster" movies and holds will also be changing to make sure they are more available for our patrons.
On July 15th, Krum Public Library is going to begin providing our patrons with some new services!
Auto-Renewal
Instead of receiving reminders that "your items will be due in three days," those items will now automatically be renewed for you up to four times!
Items will not renew if:
Another patron has placed a hold on the item
You have excessive fines
Your account has been barred
The renewal limit (4) has been reached
In these instances, you will still receive the reminder that your items are due soon and will have three business days to return it.
Blockbuster Movies
The checkout period for our "blockbuster" movies is also changing to make sure everyone can see our new movies! They can now be checked out for one week with the ability to renew it one time.
Holds
If you place an item on hold, you will have three days from the time you are notified to pick up your items.
